Your main responsibilities will be to control all aspects of the liquor operation and ensuring a smooth and profitable service during the high-profile events. This is achieved by sound planning and strong leadership skills as you will be managing large teams whilst ensuring that their performance is constantly up to the venues high standards.
The management are looking for an outgoing and strong personality with natural leadership skills, you will have experience managing large teams within a high-volume setting.
As the Bar Manager you will be responsible for:
– Liaise with resourcing department to recruit key personnel
– Demonstrate ability to identify training needs and carry out on the job training.
– Ordering and stock control
– Support your line Manager in achieving the sales revenue and targets
-Menu development with seasonal changes.
The Ideal Bar Manager candidates will:
-Have a stable working history
-Experience in Events or Contract catering
-Natural leadership skills
– Computer literate
-Not afraid to work hard to maintain the high standards
-Cellar and Beverage management experience – Managing at high stock volumes.
