Leon started working in kitchens form the age of 15, doing an apprenticeship at Manchester airport while finishing his last year of school.
At 17 he landed a job at the Lowry hotel as a commis chef, working his way up to CDP level. He then travelled and worked in Cambridge until his head chef moved to Painswick and brought him along.
He worked at Cotswold88 and achieved 3 Rosettes within a year there. He has had various head chef positions throughout Gloucestershire and has knowledge of different cuisines from modern British to Korean.
Leon occasionally steps back into kitchens when he gets the itch and still loves the environment and rush that working a busy shift can give you.
