Care Home Catering Assistant – Full Time & Part Time

We are currently recruiting reliable and compassionate Care Home Catering Assistants for exciting opportunities across friendly and supportive care home environments.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and understands the importance of providing quality meals and service within a care setting.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with ongoing work and flexible opportunities.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS is a must
• Previous Catering Assistant experience is essential
• Experience working in care homes, schools, or similar environments preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Friendly and professional attitude
• Able to work efficiently in busy kitchen environments
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Driving is preferred but not essential

Duties may include:

• Assisting with food preparation and meal service
• Serving residents and supporting dining areas
• Washing up, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen hygiene
• Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during service
• Following food hygiene, health & safety, and care home procedures
• Helping ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment
