The Role

You’ll take full ownership of the kitchen, shaping menus, leading the team, and using the hotel’s two kitchen gardens and local suppliers to create outstanding seasonal dishes. The business is looking for a chef who can:

  • Strengthen the brand and reposition the venue as a restaurant with rooms
  • Develop food-led events, new services, and stronger local engagement
  • Maintain GP at 70 and manage kitchen wage budgets
  • Drive social media presence and champion the provenance of ingredients
  • Lead, mentor and grow a small, talented brigade
  • Deliver consistency that builds recognition, reviews and repeat business

About You

  • Passionate about seasonality, local sourcing, foraging and kitchen gardens
  • Strong leader with excellent communication and team development skills
  • Commercially aware with good understanding of GP, costing and budgeting
  • Creative, ambitious, and motivated to push the business forward
  • Collaborative, working closely with FOH and ownership
