Jubilee are looking for Kitchen porters and Kitchen Assistants to join our expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a kitchen porter who drives to gain valuable experience of working in different kitchens and see how companies operate. If you are looking to pursue a career in catering this could be one of the most important roles of your life.
The main role as a KP is to ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times, it is seen as one of the most important roles in ensuring the effective running of any Kitchen.
The main duties include
- Washing up all kitchen utensils and pans.
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out
- Clean all food preparation areas and equipment.
- Ensure all areas are clean and sanitised.
- Assist in deliveries and organising store rooms.
- Basic food prep
Jubilee are looking for a quick learner who can follow instructions. While kitchen porters work as a team the ideal candidate also needs to have the initiative to work alone and sort out any problems that arise.
