Nominations are now open for the 2026 Cateys, widely regarded as the hospitality industry’s most respected awards and often described as its “Oscars”.
The awards return to JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on Tuesday 7 July 2026, celebrating exceptional individuals and pioneering businesses across hotels, restaurants, foodservice, pubs and bars.
Run in partnership with Square, the Cateys remain the industry’s only truly independent benchmark of operational excellence, with nominees and winners judged by peers and sector experts.
With 24 categories ranging from Chef Award and Menu of the Year to Manager of the Year, Best Employer and Sustainable Business, the Cateys spotlight the people and teams setting the standard for modern hospitality.
Recent winners have spoken about the importance of recognition in an industry built on long hours, teamwork and consistency. For many, a Catey isn’t just an award – it’s validation of years of hard work, leadership and belief in what hospitality can be.
Why this matters ⤵️
In a challenging trading environment, celebrating excellence plays a vital role. Awards like the Cateys help raise standards, showcase best practice and give deserved visibility to individuals and businesses moving the sector forward.
If you know a chef, manager, team or organisation worthy of recognition, nominations are now open via the Cateys website.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 4 March.
Recognition matters. If someone in your team or network deserves it, now’s the time to put them forward.
