Rhys began his career in hospitality at the age of 16, working part-time as a Kitchen Assistant before moving into front-of-house roles – quickly discovering a passion for the industry.
He went on to study Hospitality Business Management at University College Birmingham, graduating with First Class Honours.
His degree, paired with hands-on experience, opened the door to a wide range of roles across hotels and restaurants in both the UK and the US, culminating in a senior position managing multiple hotel sites.
After more than a decade in hospitality, Rhys made the move into recruitment, bringing with him a wealth of sector knowledge and lived experience. His ability to understand the realities – and rewards – of the industry makes him a trusted partner for both candidates and clients alike.
