Fed up of working evenings? We are looking for a Sous Chef to work for one of our care home clients in Birmingham, preparing and cooking fresh food for elderly residents of the care home. This is an opportunity to work daytime hours only, earn up to £12 per hour, get paid weekly and work is a less stressful kitchen.

To work in the care sector, you will be required to complete or hold an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate. If you already hold an Enhanced DBS certificate you can start immediately. If you do not hold one, you can apply for DBS clearance through Jubilee and work for us with other clients while the clearance goes through.

As Sous Chef, you will: –

– Experience in a professional kitchen as a Chef.
– Be confident and competent to work unsupervised.
– Possess relevant qualifications & training – Jubilee can support you with refresher training.
– Passion for preparing nutritious food to a high standard.

This Sous Chef role involves: –

– Ensuring all meals are served and delivered on time.
– Ensuring that all health & safety requirements are met.
– Following client menus, recipes and descriptions to ensure that any dietary and allergens are adhered to and to maintain consistency in the provision of food.
