Responsibilities of Sous chef
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes across clubhouse dining, events, and functions
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
- Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Manage stock control and assist with ordering
About you
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
- A passion for fresh, seasonal food
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Food hygiene certification (Level 2 minimum)
Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings for events
