As a Sous Chef at our client’s establishment, renowned for its award-winning food and drink, you will play a pivotal role in upholding their high culinary standards and contributing to their overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef as a Sous Chef, showcasing your creativity and culinary skills to design and prepare exquisite dishes.
  • Take charge of coordinating and supervising the kitchen staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Make significant contributions to menu development, striking a perfect balance between traditional pub favourites’ and innovative, seasonal offerings.
  • Uphold uncompromising standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, ensuring consistency in every dish prepared.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar high-volume, quality-driven establishment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in culinary techniques, flavour profiles, and food presentation as a Sous Chef.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, facilitating effective coordination with the kitchen staff and other departments.
  • A genuine passion for food and an unwavering commitment to consistently exceed customer expectations as a Sous Chef.

Our client offers a competitive salary of up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a great work-life balance.
