Sous Chef – £35,000 – £40,000 per year
We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning pub in Northamptonshire that is looking to add a talented Sous Chef to its expanding kitchen team. If you’re passionate about fresh, quality ingredients and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client is a growing and forward-thinking hospitality company with a positive and supportive work culture. They are seeking a Sous Chef with a solid background in the kitchen to work closely with the Head Chef and take on leadership responsibilities within their friendly and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead kitchen staff, stepping in for the Head Chef when required.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, seasoning, and plating of high-quality dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new and exciting menu items.
  • Support with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a Sous Chef or similar culinary role.
  • Proficient in a variety of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Experience working with fresh produce in a high-quality kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a passion for working in a fast-paced setting.
