Key responsibilities include

• Supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management.
• Leading the team during service and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
• Preparing and presenting dishes to rosette standards.
• Assisting with menu development using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Training, mentoring, and developing junior chefs.
• Managing stock control, ordering, and food cost targets.
• Ensuring compliance with all food safety and health & safety regulations.

About You

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a quality hotel or rosette-standard restaurant.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• High standards of food presentation and attention to detail.
• A hands-on approach with a desire to develop both yourself and your team.
