A classically trained sous chef is needed for a branded celebrity chef restaurant to support the head chef within this busy kitchen.
As the sous chef you will be expected to manage the kitchen on a daily basis along side the head chef and running the kitchen on his days off.
You will be working with fresh local foods all prepared to order on site with a team of dedicated well trained chefs.
This position would suit a professional well organised junior sous chef looking to take the next step up in their career closer to the inevitable target of becoming a head chef of their own.
Highlights of this role are:
Salary: Up to £28,000
Five out of seven
Primarily straight shifts doing 11 to finish
Tips £2 per hour worked
50% discount system in other restaurants

As the Sous Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience within a 2 rosette hotel back ground
– Creativity and ideas towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Sous Chef role will be responsible for and involved in the following: –
– Carrying out the Sous Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– Creative Input on the menus with own outstanding ideas
