A sous chef is required for this top end conference centre in the Maidenhead area.
You will be working primarily straight shifts doing a 40-hour week cooking fresh food cooked to order on a small dinner/ bar menu or large buffet style lunches and breakfasts catering from 50 to 150 covers daily.
This company believes in a good work life balance offering either early or late shift patters according to levels of business working occasional weekends in turn.
You need to be able to lead a large team in the head chefs absence, managing the kitchen on a daily basis including ordering, kitchen management and HACCAP whilst cooking to the highest standard possible.

As the sous Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience from within a similar from environment
– Creativity and ideas towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Sous Chef role will be responsible for and involved in the following: –
– Carrying out the Sous Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– Creative Input on the menus with own outstanding ideas
