Busy fresh food Pub, serving enourmously high volumes with a large kitchen brigade, seeking a Senior Sous to step up and ensure the team is working like clockwork.

 

This is a very experienced team and owners, so systems are in place to manage the volumes. You should be prepared and experienced in all areas of kitchen management including ordering, stock control/rotation, H&S, people management and motivation, liaising with front of house to control the work flow and service delivery and of course your skill with fresh ingredients is a given.

 

Because of the many years of experience here in this popular busy site, there are plenty of opportunities to give people varied days off, the odd weekend, holiday cover is not an issue with a team this size, everything works very smoothly and everyone is well paid and well looked after.

 

Large kitchen, lots of space, a fantastic team, with plans to establish 4 day week working patterns once the team is complete.

 

A background in more fresh food kitchens is desirable, but all applications will be considered and preliminary interviews held, as we have a variety of other similar roles which could suit your requirements.
