A Sous Chef is required for a permanent contract working for a fresh food high standard operation Staffordshire. The Head Chef is looking for someone who is driven and has all round kitchen skills with the ability to work to a high standard using only the best local suppliers in the area.

You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days per week. Live in is also available if required.

As Sous Chef, in addition to being immaculately presented, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications to the role:-

• Experience in a busy high end kitchen.
• Butchery, Fish, Larder, A la Carte and banquet experience important.
• 706/1 & 2 or NVQ/VRQ Level 1 & 2 qualifications.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and Food Allergen Certificate.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and lead a team of chefs.
• Driving licence and own transport very helpful.

The Sous Chef role will be responsible for and involve the following:-

• Ensuring that all food produced is consistent and to the very highest standards.
• Ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are met with support from the Head and Sous Chef.
