A Sous Chef is required for a permanent contract working for a fresh food rosette operation Worcestershire. The Head Chef is looking for someone who is driven and has all round kitchen skills with the ability to work to a high standard using only the best local suppliers in the area.
You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days per week.

As Sous Chef, in addition to being immaculately presented, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications to the role:-
- Experience in a busy high end kitchen.
- Butchery, Fish, Larder, A la Carte and banquet experience important.
- 706/1 & 2 or NVQ/VRQ Level 1 & 2 qualifications.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and Food Allergen Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and lead a team of chefs.
- Driving licence and own transport very helpful.
The Sous Chef role will be responsible for and involve the following:-
- Ensuring that all food produced is consistent and to the very highest standards.
- Ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are met with support from the Head and Sous Chef.
In return for your Chef Skills and experience, the client is offering a salary of 23-25kpa. This is a great chance to earn a competitive salary while gaining further experience in a high end fresh food catering operation.
