A great boutique hotel is looking for an experienced Sous chef. This is a brand new brigade so there is a great chance to have your influence on the menu. The restaurant only serves 40 people per night, and you will get 3 straight shifts per week.

As Sous Chef, in addition to being immaculately presented, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications to the role:-

  • Experience in a busy high end kitchen.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and lead a team of chefs.
  • Understanding of G.P’s and hygiene laws.

 

The Sous Chef role will be responsible for and involve the following:-

  • Ensuring that all food produced is consistent and to the very highest standards.
  • Ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are met with support from the Head Chef
  • Helping with menu creation and training of staff
  • Assisting with stock controls
