A classic British pub with rooms is looking for a Sous Chef for its busy food led operation. This is a samll brigade but you will only be doing 45 hours per week. This is a great role for a Chef de Partie who is looking for their fist sous chef role.

As Sous Chef, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications:
• Professional Chef Experience ideally in a Fresh food environment.
• Proven track record within a commercial venue.
• 706 or NVQ/VRQ Level 1 & 2 qualifications, minimum.
• The ability to manage and develop a team.
• Driving licence and own transport due to location

The Sous Chef will be responsible for and involve the following:
• Carrying out responsibilities in a professional and credible manner.
• Operation and management of the entire kitchen department including Banqueting.
• Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
• Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

In return for your superb people management skills and of course your ability to cook under pressure and organise the kitchen and the brigade, the client is offering a base salary between £22000 and £24000 in addition to a variety of benefits.
