Pastry Chef de Partie or sous chef is required for a permanent contract working within a top 1 Rosette property in the Berkshire. This amazing riverside property has a fantastic kitchen with all the latest equipment, its own smoke house and its own kitchen garden. The head pastry chef you will be working with is fluent in all the latest pastry techniques and methods some one that you could really learn from.

You need to be a young, enthusiastic and energetic pastry chef looking to be part of a growing pastry team that is looking to help the chef move forward in gaining a second rosette and beyond.

This is the perfect opportunity for a chef that is looking to take their first steps into a rosette kitchen who wants to be part of a winning team.

Highlights of this role are:

Salary: £18,000 – £21,000

Tips in excess of £200 per week

As Pastry Chef de Partie/pastry sous chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Pastry Chef de Partie/sous chef role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out pastry chef duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
