Pastry Sous Chef near Sutton Coldfield Highlights:

• Salary £32,960 per annum + Tips
• Contract 45hrs per week
• Mixture of morning and evening shifts & Straight shifts only
• Shift Patterns: 08:00 am – 17:30 pm, 13:30 pm – 23:00 pm

Pastry Sous Chef near Sutton Coldfield Responsibilities:

• Liaise with suppliers, place orders, manage stock levels, and ensure all goods meet quality standards.
• Maintain high hygiene standards, and ensure food quality meets restaurant requirements
•  Train, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team, delegate tasks effectively, manage staff schedules, and authorize holidays when needed.
• Work with senior staff on menu updates, and handle customer complaints professionally in the head chef’s absence.

Pastry Sous Chef near Sutton Coldfield (Ideal) Candidate:

• Strong pastry skills, a passion for creativity, and an eye for detail to craft beautiful and innovative desserts.
• Previous experience in a similar role at a high-end dining restaurant or hotel.
• Great communication skills and the ability to train and support the kitchen team are a must.
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
