A Pastry Chef is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen near Solihull. My client is looking for a Pastry Chef who has a good background in fresh food who has a desire to learn, progress and develop.
This role is ideal as it is simply daytime hours working in an unusual but different operation that being a high end tea rooms – so of course we are talking afternoon tea, scones, fresh cakes etc.
This is the ideal role for someone who is a good all-rounder in Pastry.
Highlights of this role are:
£20,000 – £22,000
Every evening off
Straight shifts – NO SPLITS!

The Head Chef is also interested in any strong Chef de Parties
As Pastry Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.
– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Pastry Chef role will be responsible for and involved the following: –
– Carrying out Pastry Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
