Pastry Chef Needed for the Perfect Job! Working form 7-4 Weekends & Holidays Off
A classically French trained pastry chef is needed for a high-end pastry production kitchen to supply fantastic cakes, desserts and pastries to local restaurants, hotels & other establishments.
The Chef owner is looking for a Pastry Chef that can be trusted to run the kitchen in his absence, to ensure accurate production of all products with high-end restaurant style presentation.
This is the perfect opportunity for a chef who has been working in quality or high end classical establishment who is fed up with un sociable hours, working every weekend and working every Christmas!
Highlights of this role are:
Salary: £21,000 – £24,000
Monday to Friday 7 am to 4pm
Weekends off/ Bank holidays off
Christmas closed for one week

As Pastry Chef de Partie you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have experience in fresh French classically produced food. The candidate is expected to have an excellent knowledge of all pastry recipes and techniques
– Creativity and ideas towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Pastry Chef de Partie role will be responsible for and involved the following: –
– Running the kitchen in the chef’s absence in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– Ensuring that all junior staff are coached and enhanced in the correct recipe techniques
