A Pastry is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established brigade near Birmingham. My client is looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie Chef who has a good background in fresh food who has a desire to learn, progress and develop.

You will be working at one of the most famous Hotels in the Birmingham area. This is no ordinary Pastry role you will be working under a Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous, Pastry Chef de Partie and 2 Pastry Commis Chefs – the Head Pastry Chef is looking for one more Chef de Partie.

If you are a Chef who is after a role where you learn and develop in all areas of the industry from fine dining food up to conference desserts for 600 people this is the place.

Working for the company you will be exposed to a number of different perks such like stagieres at some of the Worlds finest restaurants – amazing training – competitions.

This role is located to areas such like Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Coventry, Lichfield and Solihull.

Highlights of this role are:

Pastry Chef £21,500 – £23,000

As Pastry Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Pastry Chef role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out Pastry Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
