A Pastry Chef de partie is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established large kitchen in the Chesire area. My client is looking for a career driven Pastry Chef who has a strong background in a high standard fine dining kitchens preferably with Rosettes but not essential, as personality and a desire to learn is key.

Our client is a 50 Bedroom Hotel with a multiple award winning restaurant and classic style meeting rooms, making this the most impressive and  perfect spots for Weddings and special occasions.

This is the perfect role for an ambitious Chef who would like to work with the best in the business. The training and progression is huge with this role and it would be a fantastic career move for an ambitious Pastry Chef.

*Based on the location this role would require you to have your own mode of transport*

Responsibilities as the Chef de partie –  Pastry Chef.

• Run a clean, tidy and organised environment at all times
• Take direction and guidance from other team members
• Have a flexible ability to respond to business and client needs
• Provide support to the front of house team to ensure exceptional customer care
• To assist in making show pieces as the Business demands
• To support in the management of stock control
• To control, with the aid of the Head Pastry Chef all the operating costs within all the food outlets to the agreed budgets set
• Carry out quality checks of stock, produce and dishes on a daily basis along with offering training, and understanding of the products being delivered and used keeping the team focussed and allowing them to evolve as chefs
• To be able to run and look after and make decisions in the operation during the absence of the Head pastry chef
