Pastry Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract making classic desserts & pastries in a high end production kitchen
The Head Chef is looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie that can be trusted to run the kitchen in his absence and be trusted to ensure accurate production & perfect high end presentation of all products
This is the perfect opportunity for Chefs who have been working in quality or high end classical establishments to take a chance at working at one of the Midlands best production kitchens.
Highlights of this role are:
Salary: £21,000 – £24,000
Monday to Friday 7 am to 4pm
Weekends off/ Bank holidays off
Christmas closed for one week

As Pastry Chef de Partie you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have experience in fresh classically produced food. The candidate is expected to have an excellent knowledge of pastry recipes and techniques
– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Pastry Chef de Partie role will be responsible for and involved the following: –
– Running the kitchen in the chefs abscence in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– Ensuring that all junior staff are coached and enhanced in the correct recipe techniques
