About the Role:

As Head Chef, you will:

  • Manage the Kitchen: Lead and support the team to deliver consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Cook with Efficiency: Prepare dishes that meet menu standards while keeping up with the demands of a busy service.
  • Maintain High Standards: Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed, even under pressure.
  • Support the Senior Head Chef: Work together to ensure smooth kitchen operations and meet high customer demand.
  • Contribute to the Menu: Share ideas for simple yet creative dishes using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
  • Train and Motivate: Mentor the team to work efficiently and maintain a positive kitchen culture.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High-Volume Experience: Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-turnover kitchen environment.
  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide a busy team through service.
  • Passion for Practical Cooking: Focused on delivering quality, unfussy food that customers love.
  • Composure Under Pressure: Reliable and consistent, even during the busiest service periods.
  • Previous Experience: Demonstrated success in a Head Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role.
  • Reliable Transport: Candidates must have their own transport (this is a live-out position).
