We’re looking for a hands-on Chef/Kitchen Manager to run the newly refurbished café in Bristol

An exciting venue with a unique setting and a consistent, daytime-only schedule.

The Offer:

  • Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience
  • Full-time, permanent role with structured day shifts
  • Weekend availability needed – but no late nights
  • Be part of something genuinely interesting – this isn’t your average café

The Role:
You’ll lead the kitchen operation day-to-day – menu delivery, prep, service, and managing the small team around you. It’s fresh, simple food done well – from soups and sandwiches to more creative dishes and sweet bakes, with plenty of input into seasonal ideas.

What You’ll Need:

  • Solid kitchen experience – ideally in a café or casual dining setting
  • Confident managing a team and overseeing smooth daily service
  • Knowledge of food safety, cost control, and stock management
  • Calm under pressure, organised, and genuinely proud of what you put on the plate
  • Must be available weekends and bank holidays – no evenings
