A Junior Sous is required for a high end fresh gastro pub in near Coventry/Solihull working within a small kitchen brigade. Fed up of hotels with all the conference and banqueting, afternoon teas, sending a wedding and the quickly getting ready for service? There are 2 property’s in the company one in Solihull and the other in Coventry.

If that’s A YES why not work in a high end restaurant which is all about the service lunch and dinner and that’s it. Here they really focus on this using the latest cooking techniques and equipment.

You will be working for a renowned Head Chef who is used to working at 3AA Rosette level and he has implement a really exciting menu which is extremely modern, different and high end.

Also looking for a Demi Chef de Partie.

The Head Chef will give you your 2 days off as well as an early shift so you get an extra night off – 3 in total!

Highlights of the Role:

Salary £21,000 – £22,500 PACKAGE OF £26,500

£4,000 a year in Tips

As Junior Sous you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous, but not essential.

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Junior Sous role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out Junior Sous duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
