A Junior Sous is required for an award winning hotel near Stratford upon Avon. The New Head Chef has been at this award winning hotel with a solid back ground in hotels and Rosettes (2). He is looking for a Junior Sous to join his team as this is the last link in the team. There is a Head Chef, Sous Chef, 3 Chef de Parties and 2 Demi Chefs which is why they just need you.

The salary here is £21,000 – £23,000 and there is live ion available. Please note that the hotel is located in the middle of the town so there is plenty of things to do on your days off or even after work. Most live in roles are in the middle of nowhere and for just £30 a week is a really cheap.

The Head Chef has stabilised the hours and shifts to just 40 – 45 hours as he knows working chefs consistently over 50 just isn’t good long term.

This could be the perfect opportunity for a Senior Chef de Partie ready for their first Junior Sous role.

You will need to have a good amount of experience of the hotel industry – restaurant, bar and key here conference and banqueting.

The Head Chef would also be interested in any strong Demi Chef de Parties ready for the next step.

This role is extremely close to Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon and Kenilworth.

As Junior Sous you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous, but not essential.

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Junior Sous role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out Junior Sous duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
