A Junior Sous Chef Is required for one of Birmingham’s best loved restaurants.

This popular restaurant offers a perfect mix of modern and classic dishes using fresh and seasonal ingredients in an extensive and well thought out menu.

It’s part of a growing company which often looks to promote internally so there is a lot of room for progression and with continued structured management training, this is the ideal role for an ambitious Chef aiming for that Sous chef role.

What the Head Chef is looking for is someone who has been a CDP for at least 2 years, you will be career focused as the team will heavily invest in your training, you will be ambitious with a positive attitude and must of worked in a busy / high volume environment as you can expect to be doing around 150 covers on a busy service.

The restaurant is situated in an ideal location making it easily commutable with public transport from anywhere in Birmingham and the surrounding areas so you will have no issues here!

As the Junior Sous chef, some of your responsibilities will be:

• Train & supervise junior members of the brigade
• Lead the operation in the absence of the Sous & Head Chef
• Ensuring the food offering is consistent and of a high standard.
