A 4 star hotel is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to help in their busy operation. The hotel has a fine dining restauran, a busy conference centre and also caters for weddings. This role pays up to £25,000 per annum and there is staff accomodation located nearby if required.
As Sous Chef, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications:
• Professional Chef Experience in a busy hotel
• Proven track record within a commercial venue.
• The ability to manage and develop a team.
• Driving licence and own transport due to location
The Sous Chef will be responsible for and involve the following:
• Carrying out responsibilities in a professional and credible manner.
• Operation and management of the entire kitchen department including Banqueting.
• Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
• Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
In return for your superb people management skills and of course your ability to cook under pressure and organise the kitchen and the brigade, the client is offering a base salary between £23000 and £25000 in addition to a variety of benefits.
