A Head Pastry Chef is required for a permanent contract working in a top end country manor house with a fantastic reputation
This multi rosette property is looking for a new pastry chef that can take the pastry team to the next level and maybe on towards a Michelin star where you would be in charge of a team of three.
Three rosette experience is preferred although a good history of 2 rosettes would be considered. Maybe you are an ambitious pastry sous chef in a 3 rosette kitchen this would be the perfect next step up in your career.
This vacancy is also an excellent opportunity for a chef wanting to make a name for themselves working in one of the best country house hotels in the country and would be a great addition to a professional high spec CV.
There is live in accommodation if required both on site and in the local village. A car or other form of transport would be beneficial for this role.
Highlights of this role are:
Salary: up to £30,000 plus tips
Five out of seven 45 hr week
Primarily straight shifts

As the Head Pastry Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end 2 or 3 Rosette kitchen
– Creativity and ideas towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Head Pastry Chef role will be responsible for and involved in the following: –
– Carrying out Head Pastry Chef duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– Creative Input on the menus with own outstanding ideas
