Head Chef

Head Chef | N1, London | Monday to Friday daytime hours| up to £60k

 

We’re looking for a passionate and inspiring Head Chef who brings energy, creativity and a collaborative approach to lead our clients’ kitchen based in London.

This production kitchen provides fresh, high-quality food for multiple corporate client locations based across London. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for not only producing the food but organising and managing logistics.

 

What The Role Involves:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Production Kitchen
• Drive menu development and product innovation while inspiring and developing the culinary team
• Oversee recipe management, allergen compliance and nutritional values
• Ensure consistency across the operation as well as excellent food safety standards, including full HACCP compliance
• Manage food costs, budgets and financial performance
• Coordinate logistics between the site, delivery drivers, operational teams and client sites
• Manage labour and staffing requirements to ensure productivity and operational efficiency
• Optimise labour planning, productivity and operational efficiency

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Head Chef ideally within a production kitchen or similar
• Strong understanding of corporate catering
• Experience creating diverse and innovative menus
• Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills
• Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP and compliance standards
• Strong financial awareness with experience managing budgets and food costs
• Good management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional hospitality and food

 

Working hours are Monday to Friday daytime only (6.30am start)
