Head Chef – Hospitality, City of London | £55k + paid overtime | Mon – Fri

 

We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Head Chef to oversee the hospitality food offer at this flagship site based in the City of London.

 

Producing high level hospitality and fine dining food in a contract catering environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape the culinary direction and lead a talented team.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and manage the hospitality kitchen operation and all food produced within it
  • Guide and inspire a team as well as working as part of
  • Creating and designing seasonal menus and dishes in line with expectations
  • Involved in tasting, presentations and client meetings
  • Ensure the food is maintained at high level and exceeds expectations in terms of presentation and taste
  • Work closely with the Exec Chef and the Senior Management team

 

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with paid overtime

 

What we are looking for:

  • A Head Chef or a Senior Chef with a proven work background in fine dining ideally within a private members club, 5* hotel or similar
  • A strong team leader – able to manage, inspire and motivate a team
  • PASSION! About food, ingredients and customer service as well as what you do
  • Innovative and up to date with trends and concepts
  • An exceptional eye for detail and presentation with flair and creativity
  • Strong communication, organization and computer/admin skills
  • Excellent financial capabilities
  • Flexibility – able to adapt to business needs and last minute changes
