Are you an experienced Meetings/Banqueting and Events Manager within the Hotel, Contract Catering or High End events Hospitality Sectors?

THE JOB:

  • Day to day management of the Banqueting and Events department both delegatory as well as from the front.
  • Representing the B&E Department within the onsite Management meetings.
  • Management, mentoring and development of the team by providing both positive and constructive feedback.
  • Development of strong and long lasting relationships with all other departments in order to ensure consistency of the service and smooth operation across the property.
  • Ensuring a complete guest satisfaction in every visit and encouraging rebookings in line with the business’ brand image.
  • Maintenance of the Health and Safety Standards

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Min. 2 years’ Managerial experience at running high end meetings and events within a Hotel/Venues or Contract catering.
  • Strong knowledge of meeting and event basics including set ups, operations, forward planning as well as client liaisons.
  • Keen eye for detail and a sense of luxury without compromise.
  • Ability to engage with both the team as well as the guests.
  • Ability to perform to strict deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and inventory management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service and exceeding client expectations.
