A Demi Chef de Partie is required for a new brand new opening near to Much Wenlock, Telford & Shrewsbury.
The passionate owners have over 35 years’ experience in successfully running independent restaurants. They are especially excited about their new venture having recently hired the Head Chef & Pastry Chef who both have great vision, it is just x2 Demi or Chef de Partie that is needed to make up this exciting team.
The food is all fresh, made from scratch using only locally sourced ingredients. The menu options are quintessentially british with a contemporary twist.
They are looking for a Chef who has a background working in fresh food, is goal orientated and wants to climb the ladder in their chef career.
The owners do not want their staff to work ridiculous hours as they know to succeed it is important to create a working environment which the team can enjoying coming to work each day. You will work 45 hours a week and no more, you will be encouraged to participate in creating daily specials and have your say in the menu overall you will be given all the necessary training each day to become a well rounded & skilled Chef.
* Due to the location it is essential that you have your own transport*
Highlights of the role:
Salary of 18k for a Demi or 20k for a Chef de Partie
45 hr contract ( for a gastro pub this is very reasonable )
Share of the tips – equally between the team.
Training & progression – lots of time will be invested into you as they would really like you to succeed with position.

What we are looking for in the Demi Chef de Partie:
2 years experience working as a Chef
Fresh food experience
A good attitude that encourages team work
Ambition to grow and develop
NVQ 2 qualification – would be prefferred or atleast a desire to want to gain this.
