A Commis Chef is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen near Warwick. My client is looking for a Commis Chef who has a good background in fresh food who has a desire to learn, progress and develop.
This role is possibly the best role in the region for a talented Commis Chef. First of all its predominately Monday – Friday – the odd and very odd Saturday if there is a private function (4 last year). All the shifts are straight and 40 hours a week.
The whole team walks out the door on a Friday at 2:30pm – you can imagine what the team is like here – all happy – with families – have a social life whilst doing something that they love.
To add to this the Executive Chef is offering a healthy salary of £16,500 – £17,500 depending on experience. The Exec is looking for a skilled Commis Chef who can cope with large numbers as well as scaling down to the 2/3AA Rosette standard food.
What else? Well its charity run where all profits go back into the business so all the equipment is state of the art, new and modern.
What else? Oh yes, its closed over Christmas which doesn’t sound that appealing now but can you imagine breaking up on the 20th December?!.
This role is ideal for chefs who live near Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and Stratford upon Avon.
