A passionate Commis Chef is required for a permanent contract working within a popular hotel based in Birmingham.
The hotel serves breakfast, lunch & dinner in the modern restaurant, offers a fantastic selection of light snacks in the lounge bar and boasts 10 well equipped meeting rooms that cater to weddings, banquets and parties.
You will be joining a brigade of 8 Chefs who run a tight ship and due to the popularity of the hotel restaurant they are looking to add an experienced Commis Chef to support the brigade.
This is a great role for junior chef wanting a solid career in the kitchen, as you will join a large hotel company that supports their staff and gives all the necessary training for you to develop your skills while encouraging you to take the next step as a well-rounded Chef de Partie.
The contract is 45hrs and you will work mainly straight shifts with the occasional split shifts over 5 days out of 7.
This role is ideal for candidates who live near Birmingham, Wolverhampton or Walsall. There are transport links that operate near to the hotel based on where you are situated in Birmingham however it would ideally suit someone with their own transport.

As the Commis Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Experience in a hotel environment would be preferable however if you come from a busy restaurant environment you will definitely be considered.
– Consistently deliver a high standard food offering
– Good team work ethic
