A Commis Chef is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen near Birmingham. My client is looking for a strong Commis Chef who has a good background in fresh food who has a desire to learn, progress and develop. Don’t think if you have no Rosettes experience the Head Chef will not be interested. Far from it – if you are a Chef with passion, drive and determination he will be interested.
The beauty of this role is that the food is Michelin standard and has Rosette accolades but what’s crucial is you will not be working cliché Michelin hours, 45 – 48 hour weeks. You will be working for a company that encourages you to do chef competitions and stages and will help you on the way. In fact they pay you overtime for every hour worked.
Work here for a year or two and the next step is anywhere you want.
