Commis Chef – Funky concept – £8.00 per Hr. West Midlands

A Commis Chef is required for a permanent contract working with a funky South American influenced fresh food Restaurant.

The concept is comfortable, chilled & contemporary environment, serving South American style food using only fresh ingredients and served at a high standard.

This independent venue has a great selection of international Beers, wines and Ciders and let’s not forget about the tequila!

This role is ideal for candidates who live in Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield , Lichfield.

Straight shifts

40 Hr contract

Key Responsibilities:

• To control the food production whilst maintaining a high standard of food quality and production quantity

• To maintain all food production equipment

• Ensure the kitchen area in kept in a clean and presentable condition

• Promote good food safety practices in the kitchen

• To control stock in order to minimize food waste

Our Requirements:

• Previous working experience as a chef

• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment

• Outstanding problem solving and organisational skills

• Good communication skills

• Knowledge of South American food would be advantageous
