Chef are required to work within the care sector sociable hours and using all fresh ingredients cooking for 30-50 residents on a daily basis. This role requires a current DBS/CRB certificate.

As a Chef, in addition to being immaculately presented, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

  • Professional Chef Experience preferably in a quality food establishment.
  • Proven experience within a commercial or private venue.
  • 706 or NVQ Level 1 & 2 qualifications.
  • Proven knife skills in a kitchen environment.
  • The ability to manage a team.
  • Driving licence and own transport due to location and commuting other assignments.

The Chef role will be responsible for and involve the following: –

  • Carrying out Chef Duties in a professional and credible manner.
  • Operation and management of a kitchen section or in some cases the kitchen.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
  • Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

In return for your Chef Skills and experience, the client is offering an hourly pay rate between £8.00 and £10.00 depending on your role level.
