Chefs -Daytime Opportunities – Residential Community – Walsall and North Birmingham West Midlands

 

 

A Chef is required immediately for a residential care homes in Walsall and the surrounding areas. Working Monday to Friday and every other weekend, the hours of work are 7am-3pm and 8am-4pm.

 

As Chef you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

 

• Experience in a professional kitchen as a Chef / Cook / Catering Assistant.
• Chef background with experience running a kitchen unit.
• Previous experience of catering of different dietary requirements
• General kitchen experience
• Experience of preparing fresh food and pastries to high standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, food preparation and handling.
• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Cookery and Food Hygiene.
• Basic Food / Hygiene Certificate.
• Good communication skills.
• Team working experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Driving licence or ability to commute to location.

The Chef role will be responsible for the following: –

• You will ensure daytime meals are prepared and delivered on time.
• Ensuring that all food produced is of the very highest standards.
• Ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are met.

In return for your Chef Skills and experience, the client is offering an hourly pay rate of £10.00–£13.00. The hours of the role will be on a weekly basis of 6am-2pm and 8am-4pm with every other weekend.  This is a great chance to earn good money while gaining further Chef Experience.
