Chef Manager 
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7, including occasional weekends on a rota basis

We are looking for an experienced Chef Manager to oversee the catering operation within our private hospital. You will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and managing the day-to-day running of the department.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen and catering team.
• Plan and deliver nutritious, high-quality menus that meet dietary and clinical requirements.
• Manage food production, presentation, and service standards.
• Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
• Control food costs, labour costs, and stock management to meet budget targets.
• Maintain excellent relationships with hospital staff, patients, and stakeholders.
• Manage supplier relationships and ordering processes.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or Senior Catering Manager.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience working within healthcare, hospitality, education, or contract catering environments.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety legislation and compliance standards.
• Ability to manage budgets, stock control, and financial performance.
• Relevant Food Hygiene and Health & Safety qualifications are desirable.
