Chef de Partie – Work / life balance – High end Catering! West Midlands

An experienced Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working with a highly established & reputable Catering company, as the Chef de Partie you will be based at one of Leicester’s leading Catering venues.

Due to the high profile of the company it is important that you have proven experience in Corporate Catering or come from a Luxury Hotel environment, as all the food prepared is fresh, cooked from scratch and served at the highest of standards!

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Chef from stable background who is tired of working the long hours and is after a better work / life balance however you will not have to substitute your passion for working with fine ingredients as all food is of a Rosette standard and you will not be expected to work more than 40 hrs with just straight shifts.

Being a multi outlet operation you may be expected to work a weekend at times but expect a good balance.

As the Chef de partie you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Experience in Corporate Catering or Luxury Hotel environment

– Consistently deliver a high standard food offering

– Solid background of working with fresh food

– a proven stable work history

The Chef de partie role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Responsible for stock taking and ordering.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
