Chef de Partie Pastry is required for a permanent contract at a new 22 cover fine dining restaurant in Birmingham city. The Head Chef for this restaurant is not chasing accolades but that doesn’t mean he won’t push. The food is high end and he will not hold back in investment. You will be working within a team of 4 other chefs including a Michelin Star Sous Chef.
You will have set days off Sunday and Mondays followed by Tuesday being simply a prep day. There will be an al carte menu but majority of the timer there will be a 6 course taster menu that YOU will have input into.
ONE BIG RULE – no shouting in the kitchen is permitted – the Chef Patron believes in a calm kitchen and believes that stress and tension filters out to the kitchen and onto the customers. Any shouting is dismissal.
The plan for this restaurant is to open a further 2 restaurants so there is a lot of chances to progress.
Ideally you will need to have a background in Michelin, Rosettes or fine dining. The covers here will be under 22 and there are plans for 2 more to be added to the portfolio – so there is a chance to join something special. For now that’s all that can be said.
