Chef de Partie – Central London | £35,000

 

An exciting opportunity for a passionate, hardworking Chef de Partie to join a busy, high-volume kitchen operation in Central London.

 

Are you a reliable, motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment? We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who enjoys working as part of a large brigade, takes pride in their work and can hit the ground running.

 

The Role

Salary: £35,000

Working pattern: Five days out of seven

Early shifts: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Late shifts: 11:00am – 8:00pm

Christmas and New Year: Time off over the festive period

 

You will be joining a busy, high-volume kitchen where teamwork, consistency and a positive attitude are essential. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation, organisation and service while supporting the wider kitchen brigade.

 

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Chef de Partie who has:

• Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen, ideally within a hotel, conference centre, banqueting operation or similar large-scale catering environment.
• A stable employment history, ideally with at least 18 months in each previous role.
• Experience working in a busy kitchen as part of a large team.
• Ideally, experience on the larder or sauce section.
• A genuine passion for food and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
• A hands-on, can-do attitude, with the ability to get on with the job and use their initiative.
• A positive approach to teamwork, reliability and supporting colleagues during busy service periods.

 

This role would suit a chef who understands the discipline of a high-volume operation, works well within a structured brigade and takes pride in delivering consistent results.
