A Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen in Birmingham city. My client is looking for a Chef de Partie who has a good background in high volume.

This conference centre is very busy in the week which is why you will usually get Friday and Saturday off, Saturday and Sunday off or Sunday and Monday off. We are talking straight shifts no splits and you will get paid for every hour that you work

You will be paid a salary between £19,000 – £21,000 but KEY to this is the company you work for. You will be working for one of the most high end contract catering companies that is renowned for the food and style. Most contract catering companies are full of cooks who can simply mass produce – but this company is made up of Michelin and Rosette standard chefs – if you love your food that you put out this is the role for you.

It gets even better – you get Christmas off for two weeks!

The Head Chef is looking for someone who can handle large amount of covers – with a number of different outlets going on this conference centre is busy BUT has the team to deliver. This role is perfect for some with a Conference and Banqueting background or someone who has worked in hotels.

As Chef de Partie you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.

– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry

– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous

– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.

The Chef de Partie role will be responsible for and involved the following: –

– Carrying out Chef de Partie duties in a professional and credible manner.

– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.

– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
