Immediate Start PERMANENT | Chef de Partie | Hotel Reading

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join a luxury hotel team in the Henley-on-Thames area. The hotel is situated in a beautiful country estate, boasting stunning views of the River Thames, and offers guests an exceptional experience.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in your assigned section. Working in close collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs, you will ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and meet the expectations of guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes in your assigned section to a high standard
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to develop menus and maintain consistency of dishes
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation and storage areas
• Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff
• Manage and maintain stock levels and orders
• Comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant
• A passion for cooking and a drive to develop your skills
• A good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Flexibility with regards to working hours, including evenings and weekends
