Chef de Partie – Awesome Restaurant/Awesome Shift Pattern – Closed Christmas
A Chef de Partie is required for a permanent contract working within a highly established kitchen in Birmingham city centre. The owners of this restaurant are looking for a Chef de Partie who lives and breathes what they do.
You will have a base salary but add on £3,000 for tips for this role – this is an independent restaurant so there is no TRONC system – the owners like to reward the staff. This would give you a potential package of £21,500!
This restaurant is one of the most talked about restaurants in Birmingham where all the food is made from fresh – all of it – that is hugely important to the owners and should be for you.
You will be simply working 3 split shifts, 1 early shift and a late on a Saturday as it is closed for lunch on a Saturday.
No 50 – 60 plus hour weeks. You will be working a 45 hour week which is quiet unheard of for a Chef de Partie role in the city. With this the restaurant is closed Christmas Day and back open in the New Year – it is also closed on New Year’s Eve!
The salary for this position is a £16,500 – £18,500 with gratuities on top – remember you get Christmas off as well.

As Chef de Partie you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –
– Professional Chef experience preferably in a high end or Rosette kitchen, but not essential as long as you have fresh food experience.
– Creativity and idea’s towards the industry
– Driving licence and own transport would be advantageous
– Passion and determination is a key characteristic for this role.
The Chef de Partie role will be responsible for and involved the following: –
– Carrying out Junior Sous duties in a professional and credible manner.
– Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced.
– Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.
– If wanted, you could have an input on the menus with our own outstanding ideas
